MY 2,300TH INAM COLUMN!!!
Whenever I reach one of these milestones on this e-zine, ItsNotAboutMe.TV, (aka INAM,) I’m amazed. In my whole life, I have never stuck with any one thing, (except Mr. X, of course,) so my discipline to keep up this e-zine for all this time is sort-of baffling, even to me!
This is the famous childhood home of the Jackson 5 in Gary, Indiana. I chose it for the address, which is the same as the number of INAM columns I’m celebrating here. But I just noticed that the house looks almost exactly like MY childhood home in Brooklyn!
I always feel like there’s not anything new to say about each hundredth column. I’ve pretty much covered it all in the previous hundred. In all 2,300 articles I’ve written, (wow!,) I’ve covered dining, theatre, sports, health and wellness, beauty, books, movies, gifts, gossip, and even politics!!! I could maybe even win Jeopardy with all that knowledge!
I actually had almost this exact phone, (in powder blue, of course,) so I thought it would be interesting to include here, with all things 2300!
So, for this one, all I want to add is that I know how I’ll be celebrating—by starting work on column #2,301! But if any of you are kind enough to want to help me celebrate number 2,300, there’s no better way than to follow me across my social media platforms. (Well, there are a few better ways, of course, but in these tough economic times, I would never expect anyone to send me gift certs for facials, massages, manis, or afternoon tea! Or, as nutty children’s television show host, Soupy Sales, once infamously did, I wouldn’t ask kids to go into their parents’ wallets and send me the cash! So this is really the best way after all of those! And it’s the easiest. And I’ll appreciate the gesture just as much.)
