I’M IN NEW YORK NOW

Here I am in the Big Apple, my first home, again, for the first time in almost two and a half years!  That’s a first in my life, to have been away from New York for so long.

I had mixed feelings about coming back here, without the luxury of having my own house and car.  I’ve never before had to bring so much as a toothbrush to New York with me; my beloved Brooklyn was already fully-stocked with essentials at all times.  So, this has been a whole different experience.

But, as with show business, the show must go on.  I’m here reviewing restaurants, shows, parties, hotels, and east coast mini-trips.  I can’t wait to tell you about it all. So stay tuned for all those reviews.

I have to be honest and say that this city is always a bit stressful for me, (especially compared to drive-everywhere L.A.,) but I was lucky to call it home for almost my entire life. I always remind myself that not everyone gets an opportunity like that, so to just calm down and enjoy it while I can.

And, on the very bright side, I’m here right in the most gorgeous time of year—early Fall! I’m especially grateful for that.
