MISCELLANEOUS: I’M FINALLY BACK IN LA!

I’M FINALLY BACK IN LA!

These past five weeks have been some of the most stressful, depressing days I’ve ever experienced. I’m way too exhausted, jet-lagged, and broken to write about the extreme sadness, not to mention the back-breaking work, of emptying out my Brooklyn house right now, but I do want to thank several people there for a second.

If only getting back home would have been this easy for ME!

If only getting back home would have been this easy for ME!

Many people helped me, even though it was not their responsibility at all to do so, and to them I am eternally grateful. Most of all, the unparalleled Lauren Bennett! who’s there for me in life almost as much as Mr. X is!; Sheila Tracy, who drives eighteen hours round-trip (on work weeks, no less,) just to help me!; Barbara Burton Stewart, who takes hours of her own time just to help me make the plane reservations to get me there to begin with!; and Manny Greitzer, who doesn’t even know the extent to which he helped yet! Those people are my real family.

There are so many more folks who were there for me, (none of whom were my blood relations, of course,) and I’ll tell you about them all, and the whole sorry process, some other time.

But for the purposes of this e-zine, I just wanted to let you know that we’re back to daily postings, and there’s lots to catch- up on, (including one of my favorite celebrity sightings ever!) We’ve even started re-designing the look, so keep an eye out for that in the near future.

But now I have to go back to sleep for the rest of the week-end. See you on Monday! (And hopefully, every day after that, as well.)

Share.
