900TH COLUMN!!!

I’m apologizing to all of you for celebrating yet another hundred columns in this e-zine, but I’m doing it mainly for myself. I remember when I hit my first hundred, and I was amazed by that accomplishment.

This “900” represents the 900th anniversary of the founding of the St. Aelred of Riecaulx Abbey in Yorkshire, England. Check-out that “sleep-walking” priest in the middle.

My webmaster, Lou, was even more amazed by it! I think he was expecting ItsNotAboutMe.TV to be just a passing fancy of mine, and was kind-of shocked that he had to work so much! Early on, he constantly said things like, “I can’t believe you’re still at it!”

Some other early doubters have since given up their surprise, and have realized, happily, that this publication is here to stay. (They should have all realized how much sticktoitiveness I have by just how long my show, Karen’s Restaurant Revue, ran on cable TV!)

So I’m posting today’s column as basically a celebration of yet another hundred. And to thank you all for sticking with me for so long, through thick and thin.
