MY 1,111TH COLUMN!!!
I’m proud to be starting off the week with my 1,111th column!
While looking for images of “1,111,” to go along with this special column celebrating yet another milestone of mine, I came across this revelation: 1,111 is an “Angel Number.” Before I even knew what it meant, I was happy because I think of angels as a good thing. (I once saw something on TV about them being scary, but I’ve been trying to dismiss those images from my mind ever since.)
I feel that I have many angels watching over me, chief among them my little mother; Clarence; Bud (remember that adorable little guy?); my wonderful nanny, Edna; two of my lifetime best friends, (who left us too soon,) Alicia and Carole; and the woman who always reminded me to mind my Ps and Qs, Emma Hazel. So, seeing this column even be a tiny bit associated with angels is such a special moment for me.
My loyal readers may have noticed that I celebrate every hundred columns of mine. Seriously, at the beginning, few thought that I’d reach even the first hundred!!! So, #1,000 was pretty special to me.
When I was approaching #1,100, though, I just wasn’t feeling it as much. That number was doing nothing for me.
And then 1,111 flashed before my eyes! I’ve always been attracted to multiple numbers, and having this one be all “1”s made it even better. But, outside of explaining yet another one of my nuttinesses to you, I had nothing more to say on the topic. (Except that in my ’90s clubbing days, one of my best friends, Jessica, had that as her apartment number in her swanky apartment that we hung-out in on an almost-daily basis, and getting to make a wish on it every time I entered made it even more fun to go over there.)
So, discovering this angel angle was perfect! (See what I did there? “Angle angle?”) The whole topic is too long to go into in this space, but, after I tell you the basics, if that whets your appetite, I encourage you to research it for yourselves, especially if you’re a numbers aficionado, as I obviously am.
Several websites had basically this to say about the number: “Number 1111 is made up of the powerful influences of the number 1, amplified and magnified by four.” [Duh.] It “resonates with the vibrations and attributes of new beginnings and starting afresh, independence and individuality, initiative and assertiveness, ambition and motivation, success and leadership, courage and strength, creation and creativity, self-reliance and tenacity, attainment, happiness and fulfillment, innovation, self-development and oneness with life.”
Wow—all that for working my butt off on www.ItsNotAboutMe.TV for the past five and a half years??? Now I know exactly why I do all this!
Semi-kidding aside, I am really proud of myself for sticking with it, and when I hear from my readers who enjoy a column or two, that makes it so so so special for me. As is this milestone.
So, a great big Happy #1,111 to me…from me! You go, girl!
