HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR. X AND ME 2018

Every year, when Mr. X and my anniversary rolls around, I think I’m going to bore all of you by celebrating it here once again.

But, it just occurred to me—you guys aren’t keeping track of it because…nobody knows anyone else’s anniversary, unless maybe it’s that of their parents or children. Heck, many people forget their own!!! (But my crazy memory records everything. I repeat…ev…ery…thing. Many of my friends ask me for dates of events that happened in their lives! So don’t ever mess with me in that area.)

So, I’m hoping that you all will indulge me as I laud us for making it through yet another year of togetherness. Or, as Mr. X refers to it, a “hostage situation.” And I’m more than proud to acknowledge that I am, indeed, his captor! (He also calls me “the stalker who won,” a moniker with which I cannot disagree.)

As you may already know, I’m pretty occupied this week with watching every second of Wimbledon, which means that we cannot go out to celebrate tomorrow, (July 7 is our actual anniversary date,) but it’s no biggie—every day together is a celebration! (Really—even when we’re fighting.)

So, I just want to wish a very quick Happy Anniversary to my captive bae. Love ya, doll!
