MY SECOND HAND SURGERY IS TODAY

I never thought that I would ever look forward to surgery, but that’s exactly what I’ve been doing! My left hand has been in excruciating pain for just about three months now, and I can’t wait for that to be over. And to be able to use it again!

The last time my left hand will be scar-free. (I don't care about the scar at all, by the way. I just want the hand to be pain-free!) Notice how swollen and shiny it is. Photo by Mr. X.

I once again want to thank all my friends and readers who have expressed concern during this entire ordeal; it really means a lot to me. I just never envisioned hand problems like this, and it’s definitely been eye-opening to see how many people suffer as I have been.

When this whole torturous episode is behind me, I’ll be naming names, of both the healthcare people who did what should be done, and the ones whose systems absolutely have to be re-thought. And I’ll be confessing my own mistakes along the way, in the hopes that all my travails will help at least one other person out there down the line.

But please continue to check INAM daily because I worked ahead so I’d be up-to-date on my week-daily posts. There are party reviews, movie reviews, and I’m sure a rant or two to keep you entertained while I convalesce. And as soon as I can declare that my hands are pain-free, (or at least close to it,) I’ll be back to my usual self. (Take that heads-up anyway you choose.)
