LOVE YOUR BODY BY KAREN MICHELLE 2023 PREVIEW

I’ve been going to this event for a few years now, both before the pandemic, and since it’s calmed-down a bit. And Love Your Body is so fun that I want my SoCal readers to know about it, so they, too, can join in the festivities.

Karen Michelle’s Love Your Body 2023 is coming-up on March 26, so mark your calendars now. It will be held, as always, at the Luxe Hotel on Sunset in Brentwood. And it’s appropriate for all ages and life situations; as a matter of fact, their tagline states that this event is “a place where is everyone is welcome!”

For those of us who know that Covid is certainly not over, there are no worries about the venue because there’s action both indoors and outdoors, with the one giant interior space being open on two sides. Of course, I’ll be wearing a mask the entire time, except for when I’m eating the delish lunch, which takes place on a couple of lovely patio spaces. So you can do the same if you’re a worrier like I am, but don’t want to miss out on this good time.

Once again, Karen is partnering with Artists For Trauma, who will benefit from this event. And they’re also honoring women in the medical field, which is happy news to patients such as myself, whose female doctors and nurses are our favorites. I’m always so proud that one of my best friends, Betsy Abramova, who I consider to be my little sister, is a nurse, and my gynecologist could not be more caring and knowledgeable. And funny!

If you’ve never been to Love Your Body before, I have to tell you that there are so many aspects to it. In the main room is a big, affordable shopping event, which always features some items I’ve never seen before. And there’s also a fashion show and dessert buffet for all attendees. Then there are several perks for the holders of purchased tickets.

That brings me to the three levels of entry: Free, Fast Pass, and VIP. It’s worthwhile no matter which one you choose, but I always go as a VIP because it includes lunch, a goodie bag, a few other special gifts throughout the day, (which is sometimes like a fun treasure hunt,) and seating for the fashion show! But everybody gets dessert, and who doesn’t love dessert???

I hope to see you all there on the 26th!
