I’ve rarely looked forward to an annual event more than the fabulous all-day beauty-and-food-fest, Cure In The Canyons, whose proceeds benefit Breast Cancer Research. For the second year in a row, it’s being held at the luxurious Four Season Hotel in Westlake Village, which is itself worth the trip!
CITC (as it’s known to us insiders) features beauty treatments and products, (one of our favorite services last year was brow-shaping by Billion Dollar Brows), snacks (there was a whole barbeque last year, so we can‘t wait to see what this year brings), mini-seminars, and deluxe goodie bags! Do you see why I consider this a not-to-be-missed event?!
There’s even a section for men’s services, so we ladies don’t have to share ours. And with the guy attendees being into themselves (like most L.A. guys), we ladies don’t have to care what we look like. (Honestly, with all kinds of beauty services, why come camera-ready?)
There’s also a mid-event tea party for breast cancer survivors and those undergoing treatment, which should be a very bonding experience.
You all probably know that I’m invited to very many events throughout the year, in both the media and celebrity categories (though, in the latter, I always consider myself to be “the littlest celebrity” (and trust me, I’m not talking weight!), so when I tell you that this one is worthwhile on every level, you know I’m serious.
So, I hope to see you all there! Just don’t talk to me while I’m getting appetite-suppressing acupuncture!!! (Which I don’t even know if they have, but a girl can hope, can’t she?)
