GIFTING SUITES FOLLOW-UP 2016

Before we leave the world of celebrity gifting for awhile, (just until next month’s MTV Awards, though,) there are some more wonderful products I discovered along the way, that I really want to tell you about. I came upon them at different suites, or in different goodie bags, but for one reason or another, they had not made it into one of the previous recent write-ups.

So, here are some more of the items that I think you should know about. This is an especially good time to be aware of them, just in time for the upcoming Spring holidays, including Easter, Passover, and Mother’s Day:

Gallany Cosmetics—At the event I discovered them, this line of gorgeous, affordable cosmetics had a display that was downright mouth-watering! And their shiny-yet-classy packaging just added to the allure. The Lucite Lips collection of lip glosses features at least one shade that is perfect for everyone. The female reps were all different types of girls, but the make-up looked perfect on each one. I’m glad the product I was most attracted is named “Covet” because that’s what I was doing to it!!! www.gallanycosmetics.com

sam_1426Mary Grace Jewellery—I discovered this lovely jewelry line from Australia at an event several months ago. Since then, I’ve collected many more pieces, and I’m shocked at the variety of designs that come from one girl’s mind! Each one is beautiful and creative, and the best news for all her clients is just how reasonably-priced each item is! You should really check her out. (Just don’t show up where I am accessorized the same way!) (And yes—I do know that “jewellery” is an unusual spelling of the word. I guess Aussies march to their own drummers.) www.marygracejewellery.com

Hook Me Ups—You know that I’m all about the bling, so how thrilled was I when I ran into these jeweled phone/tech chargers?! I especially love the “Rock Candy” one, which features crystals. Now I have to hope that my phone needs charging in public, so that I can show it off! For those who are a bit less dramatic than I, yet equally fabulous, they have all kinds of attractive patterns, as well. Actually, there are some even showier, (like with feathers,) and a few for the males, too. And if anyone should ever try to purloin yours, it would be easy to prove just whose it is. www.hookmeups.com

Edda Scandinavian—This Nordic line of eco-friendly spa and home products has so many good concepts built-in. From their packaging to their easy-breezy fragrances, it’s all organic and natural. And beautiful! I want to live in their bottle of spiked peony and green apple liquid soap! www.eddascandinavian.com

Personal Touch Lingerie–I’ve seen this lingerie company at several suites over the years, and I realized that that might be why so many Hollywood peeps have good bras! The reps took the guests’ measurements right on-site, to make sure everyone was fitted properly. The funny thing is that the woman showed me how you’re supposed to put bras on. And guess what? I’ve been doing it wrong my whole life! So, now I’ll start doing it right with my new one from them.  www.personaltouchlingerie.com

Straightening_2Denman Straightening Brush—As a straight-hair-lover in a wavy-haired girl’s head, I was so happy to discover this brush that helps straighten hair as you blow-dry. It’s very cleverly-designed, and easy-to-use. Now I won’t have to always flat-iron my tresses, which is a relief for me, as well as for my top secret hairdresser, (whose identity will be revealed sometime in the future. So, stay tuned for that.) www.denmanbrushus.com

Shapes Brow Bar—I met them at an event where they were threading the guests’ brows. (In case you’re not familiar with that procedure, it’s done in place of waxing/tweezing.) Their display, which was the full length of the room they were in, was beautiful. The staff was full of nice peeps, each one with a different function.  (Brows, make-up, PR, interviews, etc.)  Then each person went home with a gift bag of their new fun make-up. www.shapesbrowbar.com

American Hat Makers—Already the proud owner of a couple of chapeaus from this company, I loved running into them again. I can’t believe that each time we meet, they have so many new designs! The most popular one at this suite was one that looked like an exotic owl. But my pal Alice’s fave was the one entitled “El Dorado.” (Yes—these hats are so fab, they have names!) She said that one has “top hat character, and a ‘Slash’ vibe,” which she’s totally spot-on about. Of it, she added, “Put this one on, and all heads will turn when you walk in–what an entrance!”  www.americanhatmakers.com
