WOW CREATIONS LIFESTYLE GIFTING SUITE FOR THE TELEVISON AWARDS WEEK

This Wow Creations gifting suite from the Harris Twins was the absolutely most jam-packed with gifts that I’ve seen in a while.  It was held once again at the W Hotel in Hollywood, which is always fun.

Roz is my co-writer here again, since she had so much fun at their Oscars event.  About this one, she said, “The bustling crowd at Wow was indeed ‘wow’-inducing. It was so energetic and full of smiling people. The vibe was great and the products were beautifully displayed.”

Speaking of the multitude of wonderful products, many in the categories of skin care, hair care, and health, let’s get right to the highlights of them!:

Hollywood Eye Magic—For those of you who’ve seen me in person, and don’t think that I look as exhausted as I always say I am, you finally know my beauty secret!!!  I’ve been using this under-eye-bag-lessener for years now, and let me tell you—it is indeed magic!!! I was thrilled to discover that they now make a travel size, which will absolutely save my upcoming trip to NY!  Roz, who had never tried this product, but has been hearing about it for years, said, “Everyone who uses it, especially Karen, has lauded this instant under eye treatment serum as a miraculous product. And now I, too, can say that it’s brilliant!” Even though I don’t love others discovering how I keep my bright eyes looking that way, I’m glad when they acknowledge that I know what I’m talking about! In this one case, anyway. www.hollywoodeyemagic.com

What The Film Game—As an avid game lover, I was thrilled to be introduced to this new one! Especially because it’s about trying to make your own movie in the often-vicious showbiz industry! So, I guess it’s all part of the game of my own real life.  And I hope to come out the winner in both of them! www.lethalchickengames.com

SolSol— Roz took one look at these solar-powered caps and told me, “This is so cool for tennis players or anyone who loves outdoor sports, for that matter.”  She further explains, “The visor part of the lid is actually a solar panel, so when you’re in a sunny place, you plug your phone into the cap, and the panel charges it up!  So clever.” I can add only that they now have girly designs, too, such as Roz’s fave, which says simply Lovewww.solsolhat.com

G4 Premium Tequila–This four-generation tequila company has been operating since 1937, which comes through in the quality of their products. Roz, who’s a self-admitted “lightweight drinker,” chose to try a sip of the Blanco (over their three other varieties) and said it’s “very smooth and classy.” Even better news for talkers like us, she told me that the one small taste she had at the event “cleared my throat up right away!” That’s pretty special for an alcohol to do. www.g4tequila.life

Acai Hair Products—I ran right over to this table because I noticed that all the items on it were…purple! How beautifully attractive! Once there, I discovered that this new line was gifting not only their anti-oxidant-and-vitamin hair mask, which is made from the nurturing acai berry, and is touted to deeply moisturize over-worked hair, but Roz said it “smells great,” and the “large light purple tub” in which it’s housed is “lovely to look at.” But I was blown away by the fact that each guest also received a mini-flatiron from this company!!! How generous can they be?! www.isobeauty.com

ReLites Candles—This eco-friendly candle company houses their soy-wax-with-essential-oils creations in repurposed cut-down wine bottles. On top of that, they come in lovely aromatherapy scents, or even unscented, for people like me who can’t take a chance on sniffing any fragrances. (I was very tempted by the “Allergy Relief” one, though.) After smelling a few, Roz told me that she coveted them all, and sighed, “But I have to be content settling for one.” www.relites.com

Daba Hair—This hair restoration company was gifting each guest a bag full of their complete line of products. Roz said that they’re all “wonderful for people who are worried about thinning hair or hair loss.” She was especially impressed with their micro-needle roller, which helps their hair stimulation sprays better enter the scalp. She also noted the “very pleasing fragrance.”  www.dabahair.com

Propahphernalia Crystal Pipe—After we admired these beautiful pipes on display, Roz quipped, “It’s great the the world of marijuana is catching-up to classy ways to smoke, and the crystal pipe is so elegant that I just know it will be a big hit with the hipsters!” I totally agree with everything she said. www.propahphernalia.com

Tipsy Trailer Company—At first, even though I thought this little “party cart” was attractive, I didn’t go over because I thought they were serving alcohol. But it turns-out that this “unique traveling tavern vehicle,” as Roz referred to it, can serve “whatever drink you choose!” It’s perfect for all kinds of events, and since they can serve also non-alcoholic beverages, it’s great for kids’ parties, as well. They have both interesting bike and old-timey milk truck set-ups, which are both cute. www.tipsytravelerandco.com

Saborino—The reps from this Japanese skin care company were so cute—they were all dressed in light jeans, white shirts, and rocked some sort-of yellow adornment, like ties or suspenders, to match the package their Facial Sheet Mask comes in! Adorbs. Probably even better is that their product cleans, firms, and moisturizes, all in one sheet mask! As Roz exclaimed, “Yeah!”  www.bcl-company.jp/en

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay—This company generously gave each guest not one but two tubs of their special skincare clay! Roz explains that “ you mix the powdered clay with water or other liquids to develop your own personal level of mask thickness.” She continues, “That’s really good because sometimes you need only a light mask, and sometimes you need to go deep. It’s a fabulous product because it won’t go bad because of its dry form. It’s great to have on hand for all your beauty needs.” www.aztec-secret.com

Hillbilly Hustlers–This hip apparel company, which was gifting their “Heart Beats Hustle” t-shirts, gives back by providing support for veterans and people getting out of recovery treatments. They also aid them with work-related items such as clothing, tools of their trade, and education. To that end, a portion of their sales goes to help offer all that. (There’s more info on their site.) Roz said, “It’s a company that puts heart in their art.” I wish I had thought of that! www.hillbillyhustlers.com

Dirt Nap Handcrafted—These are beard and hair products formulated just for men. All the male guests at the suite must have loved discovering them, since items in the category of grooming are usually more for women. Roz said, “I think those handsome bearded men I see all over town will want these, for sure!” www.dirtnaphandcraftd.com

Schwarzkopf Professional—Since we all have such different types and colors of hair, it was nice that this hair care company brought so many of their products from which the guests could choose which is best for their own tresses. Roz especially noted their “spray-on conditioner for detangling, and a “nice restorative shampoo with a healthful PH Balance, so it won’t strip color.” www.schwarzkopf.com

Daily Body Restore–Roz, who’s been using this product for awhile now, told me, “This terrific supplement with digestive enzymes and probiotics reduces gas and bloating. So it’s perfect for the upcoming crazy foods time of year, starting with Halloween all the way through the many December holidays.” I sure wish I had known about it a month ago, when my insane partying diet was causing me never-before-experienced stomach issues!!!  www.dailybodyrestore.com

Aubio Cold Sore Treatment—Roz says, “Winter cold season is almost here, so this fantastic cold sore treatment, which comes in both a gel and lip balm, is perfect to have on hand.” I add that I’ve used it for awhile over the years, no matter the season, and it does work really well. www.aubio.com

Nyakio—This company was gifting a choice of several of their skin care products, such as soothing oil and lip balm, which Roz really got into checking-out. She pointed-out of the balm, that, in addition to how “supple” it feels on your lips, “The company has a conscious code of ethics, and makes a point of using natural ingredients. They cold-press small batches to maintain sustainability. They also support women’s employment/empowerment so this item is a win, all the way around.” www.nyakio.com

What If Book—Being a lover of fun art, I appreciated that the author of this book about hindsight, Matthew Imes, was gifting not only his tome, but tins of mints, with his cover art on the top of them! So cute. And, as someone who constantly laments the road not taken, this just might be the book for me!

Lala Vie—This trio of skin care items that work in concert with each other is from Japan, where everyone looks good to me! They were being demonstrated by two girls who have lovely skin themselves, so I’m hoping that the creams and cleansers work that same way on the rest of us, as well.

Plant Organix—I had met this CBD-infused products company before, but their infused sodas and beer they were serving this time were new to me. To Roz’s immediate, “Party on!,” she added, “The best way to celebrate something is to drink this and feel no pain.” www.plantorganix.com

Gina More—This very color-coordinated woman was gifting a variety of fashion items. Guests could choose from what Roz deemed “bold and beautiful” sunglasses to big fashion earrings, to lovely scarves. And much more, (as her last name so aptly states!) www.glamore4u.com

Seve Polaris Shoes—Since I broke my back years ago, and had to give up wearing heels, I’ve been on the look-out for attractive flats, which, trust me, are hard to find. So, when I saw sparkly pull-on sneakers on this table, I rushed right over to admire them up-close. And so did the entire assemblage! These are perfect for the casual attire-loving fashionista! www.sevepolaris.com

Face Forward—This was Wow’s charity of choice this time. For the past decade, this worthwhile organization has been providing free reconstructive surgery and therapy for people in several countries who have been victims of domestic abuse and human trafficking. www.faceforwardla.org
