The Harris twins threw their latest gifting suite at their fave venue, the W Hollywood. That makes it easy for the guests, especially ones like moi who are fans of continuity. But they switched it up a tad by having it be in the Great Room, as opposed to the usual actual suites. Both configurations are wonderful, but I actually liked this one a bit more, with everyone in one giant room, for the mingling aspect. I was able to introduce sponsors from different cities to each other to bond geographically, which they all appreciated.

Lucia, my contributing writer on this one, had never been to a Wow Creations gifting suite before, and she loved it, from beginning to end. She dramatically explains, “The W Hotel Hollywood welcomed us with hipness and funk.  The lobby set the tone and then we headed-up to the second floor, where the most dashing set of twins greeted us! I loved their complimentary ensembles with fab pocket kerchiefs, and I could tell right away that these guys really know how to throw a party.”

Besides the Harris brothers, the gifts were the main event there, so let’s get right to the highlights:

The IndiExclusive—We noticed this table of colorful crafts the second we entered the room! The intrepid leader of this artists collective, Azula Morphoenix, was on-site, gifting a choice of beautiful, one-of-a-kind treasures by various artisans. Each guest got his or her choice of the artwork, and I can’t imagine how they even narrowed it down, with all this creativity on tap! Here are just a few of the pieces that Lucia and I were drawn to the most: Hannah Lynn’s all-ages coloring books, like one titled Mermaids, Fairies, & Other Girls of Whimsy (www.hannahlynnart.com); fabulous handmade greeting cards and tote bags by Australian artist Karen White of Kewzoo, (we especially loved a bag featuring colorful pouting fish,) (www.zazzle.com/store/kewzoo); Slated in Spirit’s perfect elegant-yet-hip silver bracelets (www.slatedinspirit.com); and Kathy Adalian’s digital art, especially a whimsical framed print of a unicorn in a bathtub! Mr. X is often referred to as “The Unicorn,” because people rarely see that homebody out and about, so that piece struck me the most out of everything! Primal Life Organics—We both agreed that registered nurse Trina Felber, who created this company, couldn’t have been nicer or more educational.  And she gave-out the most generous gifts! One was an oral detox kit, which included a teeth-whitening system, a tongue scraper, charcoal infused bamboo toothbrush, black peppermint toothpaste, peppermint dirty mouth tooth powder, and dirty mouth gum serum. And for good measure, there was some lavender deodorant in there that also helps your lymph nodes.  The other gift was a natural facelift kit. That one included a sonic facial cleanser, sweet revenge exfoliator, and an elixir to use with the massager to get it deeper into the skin. Primal Life really wants to help Hollywood look its best! www.primallifeorganics.com

Mperial Sportswear—I loved this new sportswear company out of Florida! Michael Chandler designs the most colorful clothing I’ve ever seen! Lucia admiringly gushed that the shorts, both men’s and women’s are the “best-looking” ever, but I had eyes for only the really fun dresses. Michael uses so many colors and patterns in all his items, including some with what Lucia calls “rich blues mixed with a tile pattern, and amazing colors interplaying in all their items.” On top of how attractive every piece is, it each comes packaged in a cute reusable bag, inspiring Looch to deem the entire company “a great find.”  www.mperialsportswear.com

Jimeye Designs—I could have spent the day just perusing this silver jewelry—every piece had my mouth watering! And besides the beauty of it all, the idea behind every item is perfect. For example, the Flame of Life pendants help with spiritual guidance, and the Creation rings assist you in making the right decisions. But any decision the guests made with this jewelry was the correct one! www.jimeyedesigns.com

Alyse Parfum—Lucia points-out that this perfume company’s tagline is “Fragrances that empower.” They do that in two ways. One, as Lucia says, is that their fragrances “smell great and make you feel good,” and the more important one is that they donate a portion of their sales to Face Forward, a non-profit organization that helps victims of domestic violence overcome physical reminders of their trauma. She declares, “Now that is empowering!” www.alyseparfum.com

Marc Edward Skincare—I had received a facial from Marc Edward a year and a half ago, (the last time I could find even a minute of “me time,”) and let me tell you—besides that it was fabulous, he found a tiny little cancer on my forehead, therefore maybe even saving my life! So I was thrilled to see him again at this lounge, gifting certs to other lucky people! Lucia deems him, “a brilliant facialist with all the latest technology.”  After speaking with him awhile, she said that she already knew that “Marc Edwards will fix any skincare problem with a laugh and expertise.”  She’s right about that—after I saw him again at this Wow event, I paid him another much-needed visit, and was bowled-over by how many incredible machines he uses for each facial. www.marcedwardskincare.com

Tweeting Cards—This company’s cute greeting cards each have a pack of candy attached.  Lucia calls it, “Such a fabulous, fun, and tongue-in-cheek idea!”  It’s created by a mother and her two young sons, who have won awards with the concept.  It’s actually a card and mini-gift in one, so it’s also a timesaver.  www.treetingcards.com

ReRe Jewelry—We really enjoyed meeting this hip and happening jewelry designer, who was the best advertisement for her own work that I’ve ever seen.  I loved everything she was rocking, and asked where she got it all, not realizing all the pieces were right on her table!  She was gifting a double-sided (black enamel on one side and white enamel on the other) hexagon-shaped sterling silver bracelet that Lucia said is “too cool for school!” And ReRe’s business cards are as attractive as her jewelry! www.rerejewelry.com

Erasing Time—This skincare company gifted cards to go into their Woodland Hills office to receive their facial treatment called Forma. Lucia notes that it’s their “most requested treatment because it stimulates the formation of new collagen and improves the skin’s elasticity for long-lasting and remarkable results.” I can’t wait to see everyone’s results at the next Wow event! www.erasingtime.com

White2Nite–A dentist from this company was on-hand to answer dental queries, while gifting their natural tooth whitening pen in a little bag with their Ayurvedic oral healing rinse. Everyone in Hollywood should use one of these because, as Lucia says, “A smile is forever.” www.white2nite.com

Undefined Beauty—This skincare company from up north was gifting a choice of many of their CBD-infused products. Lucia inspected their Indigo Rose Glow Gelee, and said, “Its scent is heaven and its promise to lift, sculpt, and repair well-received.” They presented each guest’s gift in a cute little pouch with the words “Fix Your Vibe” emblazoned on it, and several extra goodies inside. And I love that their tagline is “I like my skincare how I like my people: non-toxic.” Amen to that! www.un-definedbeauty.com

Winged—These are CBD-infused supplements, which are formulated exclusively for women.  The company was gifting their line of gummies which are formulated for different outcomes. The most popular one at this event seemed to be the Relaxation, which is what we all needed after the hectic pre-Emmys festivities! And the mouth-watering turquoise and pink packaging is my favorite color combo, so that makes this product even more special! www.wingedcbd.com

Love Works–“Love Coach” Nicole Moore was on hand gifting certificates to take her on-line course which Lucia tells us Nicole created “to help those who want to get unstuck and grow, and find the partner and relationship of their dreams.” And she threw a rose quartz heart in her little gift pouch, for good luck!  www.loveworksmethod.com

Dulce Ardor Potato Chips—Lucia says these new “ thicker and crispy” chips from Las Vegas are “phenomenal!” They come in Salt ’n’ Vinegar, Homestyle Jalapeno, and BBQ, and remind Lucia of her “favorite Cape Cod potato chips, which are hard to find around here.” We both say, “Yum!”  www.dulceardor.com

Shea Moisture—We enjoyed discovering this company’s many all-natural skincare wares.  Lucia was especially impressed with their “delicious-smelling and fabulous-feeling Coconut and Papaya Body Wash,” because she’s always on the lookout for products with “odor control.”  www.sheamoisture.com

I Am Aranth—This snack food company let guests choose their own snacks from among several more healthful choices, with many clamoring for the Lime and Himalayan Salt Sticks. Another popular choice was the chunky peanut butter and amaranth cups, which Lucia says are “way better than the commercial ones, and much better for you, to boot!” www.iamaranth.com
