ECO HIDEAWAY PARK CITY GIFT BAG

Once again, I was unable to make it to Salt Lake City’s recent Sundance Film Festival, so a bit of it came to me! I’m not kidding; it was in the form of a fabulous goody bag from “green” suite, Eco Hideaway Park City.

It was so kind of event producer Debbie Durkin to send me a bag. This was one year I really did plan to go to Sundance; I’m always invited, but it’s usually during my January 14th birthday, on which I like to stay in L.A. The festival was actually a little later this year, but this time health issues got in the way. I was feeling a little down that my painful hands prevented me from flying for a little while longer, so a cheery bag full of goodies was just what the doctor ordered. (If only!)

I was happy to finally peek inside a Sundance gift bag after all these years, and it was made better by being able to share that experience with my new intern, Stephanie. What a way to welcome her to the big leagues!

I know a major attraction of this lounge is always entertainment, perhaps even moreso than the gifts, but the people from Seismic Audio Speakers did both. They were the sponsors of the suite’s Music Artist Stage, and also handed out promotional items, such as skull caps and gloves, which I’m sure came in handy to the festival newbies who might have been unprepared for the cold.

In addition to the above items, the bag included several that were perfect for visitors to wintry Salt Lake, such as a bag of skincare products straight from The Spa at the Stein Eriksen, a faux fur scarf with hidden pockets from Fur Frenzy, and a fluffy Minky Couture neck scarf. And a bracelet from Deborah Gaspar added a glamourous touch.

Hopefully, next year I’ll be able to make it to this film festival myself, so I can report on all the happenings. And my first stop will be at Eco Hideaway Park City!
