MINI RESTAURANT REVIEWS 101

Even though my birthday was almost a month ago, the celebrations continue. Knock on wood! My generous pals always let me choose the destinations because my obsession is to try every single restaurant in LA and NY, so I can’t repeat any. That process leads us to various degrees of success.

So, I decided to start documenting them, and came up with many mini reviews, as opposed to full-size ones. The latter involve very many hours, with three or four pals, analyzing everything about the eateries, and accompanied by several photos that we painstakingly shoot throughout the experience, while these new mini-reviews are usually the result of a much shorter meal, often lunch, and more than occasionally starring the elusive Mr. X (!), and therefore aren’t as detailed as their big brothers.

I hope you enjoy them just the same, and that they give you some good ideas for your own dining-out plans here in LA. (I plan to do the same thing in NY on my next trip.) I don’t want to overwhelm you with info, so I’ll publish just one at a time. If you miss reading this site for a few days (heaven forbid!,) just check my Dining section from time-to-time to find them.
