BELLAFORTUNA’S TOAST TO THE EMMYS

Bellafortuna’s soirée was, sadly for me, the only Emmys Week party I made it out to. Between the gifting suites, screenings, and writing about them all, one actual party is all I had time for this year.

This fete’s subtitle was “A Celebration of Diversity,” and that it was. I love a crowd of guests from all different areas of life!

This was the best-looking, best dressed crowd I’ve seen in a long time. I was happy to see that most everyone dressed-up, befitting the occasion.

It was thrown at the beautiful Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, and was to benefit the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

There were a few delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, including tiny short rib sliders, which were my faves. There was also a Yogen Früz station on the patio, with several fun toppings. I got a kick out of seeing all these decked-out peeps walking around a gorgeous hotel with cups of frozen yogurt! It was a fun touch that gave us all something to talk about.

I loved the DJ, Novastarz. He played the perfect music all night, in his bright purple tux, and the crowd who stayed late finally got some dancing going.

Some of us left with mini speakers from Monster, who was showing their wares all night.

A special shout-out to the beautiful young lady who saw me drop my bracelet, and ran over to give it to me. It was a special one, and I would have felt awful had I discovered it lost. Most people would not have been that kind, and I really, really appreciated what she did.
