DEBBIE DURKIN’S ECOLUXE LOUNGE AT SUNDANCE 2015

I’m loving this! I didn’t have to to go all the way to Sundance; Sundance came to me!

It was in the form of a gift bag from Debbie Durkin’s Eco-Luxe Lounge at that famous film festival. I had been hearing a lot about her event, (especially the fabulous daily food!,) and I was coveting some of the gifts she featured there, (especially a couple of different kinds of flat footwear, my favorite things to wear!)

And then, lo and behold, Debbie sent me a bag, so that I didn’t have to feel left-out anymore. That was really nice of her.

The contents of the signature bags are so cool; what a fun combination of products! So, let me tell you about the highlights already!

Roma Boots—Not only are these uber-hip rain-boots mouth-wateringly attractive, but the company is so very charitable, to boot! (Stupid pun intended.) Their motto is “Giving poverty the boot,” and to that end, for every pair sold, they donate a pair to a child. On top of that, they fill them (the boots, not the child) with educational supplies! How wonderful! I can’t think of a more worthwhile business model that than this one.

Pakems—This lightweight footwear is a fabulous innovation! They’re collapsible shoes! You read right. They’re adorable little booties, that you can even wear in public, and they basically flatten-out so that you can pack them easily. And they’re attractive, too.

Hai MP3 Flat Irons—A girl with as much hair as I have always needs fun flat-irons. And none are more fun than this one, that plays music (which you program in yourself) while you’re working! I love the cool blue-and-turquoise look of it, too!

Bula Outerwear—This colorful beanie is the cutest! It almost makes me want to ski! (Or at least sit outside looking stylishly cool.) They were also gifting tube scarves, to keep out the cold.

J. Andre Sponges—I’ve used these all-natural cosmetic sponges before, with excellent results, so I was happy to see them again.

Modern Oats—These gluten-free oatmeals come in little containers that are easy to take with you. Can’t wait to try one when the next time I’m in a rush, (which is always!)

Loree Rodkin—These bath salts came in a box that’s attractive enough to put on your dresser.

I look forward to using each and every one of these items. They’ve whetted my appetite so much that I’m vowing to make a concentrated effort to make it out to Sundance, and Debbie’s Ecoluxe Lounge, in person next year! No excuses because I sure have the attire for it now!
