The location of Spoiled and Entitled was the brand new Par 4 Golf, (where players practice their swings on simulated courses,) in West Hollywood. I had gone to a party at a similar place in New York City the last time I was there, and was wondering why LA didn\u2019t have one like it. And now we do! It literally just opened, so my co-writer, Laura, (yes\u2014she\u2019s back!,) and I were happy to be among the first to experience the unintimidating compact venue.<\/p>\n
Laura says, \u201cThis was a more intimate gifting suite, which actually gave the event a relaxed and easygoing feel. The smaller setting worked well, making it easy to spend time at each booth, talking with the people behind the brands, and really learn about what they were showcasing. It felt less hectic than some of the larger suites, and made for a very pleasant afternoon.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event featured a couple of services, a few products that were totally new to us, and one of our favorites that we had run into in a prior year. So let\u2019s begin the highlights with that one:<\/p>\n

SingleTree Lane<\/strong>\u2014We had met this very imaginative clothing designer once before, so we were already fans of her incredible work. Laura said, \u201cI really enjoyed seeing the woman behind this wonderfully bold California fashion brand again. Anita\u2019s pieces are colorful, artistic, and definitely not<\/em> designed for someone who wants to disappear into the crowd!\u201d We happily chatted with her for a while, and Laura got a kick out of \u201chearing how she approaches creating them. She told us that she once had a very specific shoe in mind, and couldn\u2019t find what she envisioned anywhere, so she finally decided to design it herself. Now that we\u2019ve spent more time with her,\u00a0the originality of SingleTree Lane\u2019s clothes makes perfect sense.\u201d www.shopsingletree.com\u2060<\/a><\/p>\n Photo by Laura Saul.<\/p><\/div>\n Stingray Clean<\/strong>\u2014This cute couple from New York were on hand to demonstrate how their famous spot remover works by purposely spilling red wine on a\u2026wedding dress! I almost fainted. (And then wished I had brought a couple of my own stained items for them to fix!) Laura tells us, \u201cI\u2019m almost obsessive about stain removal, so I was excited to discover this company. Their Instant Spot Remover is designed to work on everything from clothing and upholstery to carpeting and even car interiors! I especially like that it\u2019s fragrance-free, biodegradable, and made without the harsh chemicals and strong odors that so many stain removers have. They seemed sooo happy to be sharing their protein donuts, which are uniquely flat, with the guests. Laura was very excited to find-out about them, having seen them at her gym all the time. She says, \u201cI\u2019ve actually been curious about these Legendary donuts for a while! When I check in at Crunch they have them sitting right there on the counter, and I always look at them and wonder what they taste like. With\u00a020 grams of protein in a two-pack, they\u2019re definitely not your typical donuts. And all the flavors sound delicious\u2014Blueberry, Cinnamon Crumble, Chocolate Dipped, Pink Sprinkle, and Vanilla Glazed. She says, \u201cI had never experienced PEMF\u2014Pulsed Electromagnetic Field\u2014therapy before, so I was curious to see what it was all about. The treatment uses pulsed electromagnetic fields, and 2nd Wind Pulse offers short sessions designed around relaxation, recovery, and overall wellness. I tried it for about fifteen minutes, which basically involved relaxing while the equipment did its thing, and I have to say that I felt surprisingly refreshed afterward! I have to keep my own reading to myself, as everyone<\/em> should, to not give its power away.
