I lost my father about a dozen years ago, so I try to ignore this holiday. Plus, I was never into it to begin with; it&#8217;s just not colorful or pretty enough. If you have any good suggestions, please let me know, and I can pass them on, on this site or personally.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/images111.jpg\" title=\"images1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4532\" title=\"images1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/images111.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"127\" \/><\/a>At least give him a cake\u2014that way you can eat some, too. Decorate it with a sports theme\u2014that&#8217;s always manly&#8230;or for me! Or grill something up\u2014that&#8217;s stereotypically manly. Maybe even Tom Sawyer him into doing it for the rest of the fam. According to lore, they won&#8217;t even mind.<\/p>\n<p>So kids, please don&#8217;t ignore your papas\u2014some of them are just as human as your moms!<\/p>\n<p>And to all my male readers, fathers or not, I wish you all a very Happy Father&#8217;s Day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HAPPY FATHER&#8217;S DAY!
