Some of these people I saw from afar, and some I had the pleasure of speaking with. It was a good blend of fun sightings, all the way around. So here they are:<\/p>\n
12\/19\/19\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Oscar nominee June Squibb<\/strong> (for 2013\u2019s\u00a0Nebraska<\/em>) at the Apple store in Sherman Oaks. I have no idea why we two luddites were even in there, but I\u2019m glad that I got to talk to her for a second; she was exactly as sweet as most of her characters. And she looked amazing for the\u00a0nonagenarian<\/em> that she is!!!<\/p>\n Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx. Jordan<\/strong> in West Hollywood speaking after an industry screening of their current important film,\u00a0Just Mercy<\/em>. I was never a fan of Jamie (as a person, not an actor,) but let me tell you\u2014that man has confidence! His words were very honest and educational.<\/p>\n 12\/31\/19\u00a0\u00a0Justin Guarini<\/strong>, the very first\u00a0American Idol<\/em>\u00a0runner-up, (and Mr. X\u2019s favorite commercial character, as \u201cLil\u2019 Sweet,\u201d) with his young son, chatting-up the owner of a Bel-Air pharmacy, while rocking a new cute \u2018do.\u00a0(It\u2019s sort-of buzzed on the sides and very curly on the top.)<\/p>\n Karen Salkin and Jake Choi. Photo by Patty Onagan.<\/p><\/div>\n 1\/3\/20<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Single Parents<\/em>\u2019 \u201cMiggy,\u201d Jake Choi<\/strong>, (with whom I share my January 14th birthday!,) at the Secret Room Events gifting lounge in Century City, hanging with\u00a0\u00a0The Terror<\/em>\u2019s Miki Ishikawa<\/strong>, (but definitely no couple alert there\u2014trust me!,) and\u2026me<\/em>!
