Before I begin my three-week trip to New York next Monday, let\u2019s finish-up the celebs I\u2019ve spied in LA for the past couple of months.<\/p>\n

8\/11\/19\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Two of the surviving Pointer Sisters<\/strong>, Anita and Ruth, at the Hollywood Museum in the heart of that town, to celebrate the private first showing of the new documentary,\u00a0The Max Factor<\/em>. 8\/14\/19 Tobey Maguire<\/strong> in West Hollywood, speaking after an industry screening of a so-so movie he\u2019s on the producing team for,\u00a0Brittany Runs a Marathon<\/em>. He has that same insipid voice in person as he does on film.\u00a0\u00a0And he\u2019s even shorter than I expected.<\/p>\n

8\/18\/19<\/strong>\u00a0TV actors,\u00a0The Walking Dead<\/em>\u2019s Chad L. Coleman<\/strong> and\u00a0Girls\u2019 Guide To Divorce<\/em>\u2019s\u00a0Beau Garrett<\/strong>, hanging on the sidewalk in front of the theatre where they were doing a play in Hollywood, on opening night, chatting with the audience members. 9\/8\/19 Cedric the Entertainer<\/strong>, Michelle Kwan<\/strong>, Jeri Ryan<\/strong>, and Laurence Fishburne<\/strong> (although no two of them together) at the Ahmanson Theatre for the opening night of John Leguizamo<\/strong>\u2019s show, Latin<\/em> History for Morons<\/em>. 9\/21\/19<\/strong> The biggest celeb of all\u2014Brad Pitt<\/strong>!\u2014at the opening night of A Play is a Poem<\/em> at the Mark Taper Forum in downtown LA. He and Josh Brolin<\/strong> passed the entire time before it started by chatting with each other and the women they came with. (And with anyone else whom Brad\u2019s bodyguard allowed over to him!)
