3) I don’t text. If people have something to tell me, I have multiple phone numbers and multiple email addresses. And a real mailbox!<\/p>\n
4) I\u2019ve rarely chatted on the phone for over four years now. If someone wants to chat, rather than impart information, they\u2019re always welcome to make plans to see me.<\/p>\n
5) I\u2019m the opposite of cell phone obsessed. Hardly anyone even has my cell number, and if they do, they know it’s for emergencies only. And yes, lunch is<\/em> an emergency!<\/p>\n 6) I\u2019m neither a dog nor children lover. I know–this revelation isn’t surprising- it’s shocking<\/em>! I love Clarence, of course, and my first dog, Bud, and my just-turned-eighteen-year-old favorite friend, Ronnie Hazel, Jr. I\u2019ve had other kid friends over the years, and, of course, I liked them. But, in general, I think that most kids are obnoxious, mainly because of their parents. And dogs should not be in stores and restaurants.<\/p>\n 7) I don’t believe in marriage. Period. I\u2019m not against<\/em> it–I just don\u2019t see the need. I don\u2019t need a piece of paper, or some stranger \u201cpronouncing\u201d me anything, to be with Mr. X. We\u2019ve outlasted some people\u2019s third marriages!!! If one of us would want to leave, (which just isn\u2019t going to happen,) we can, with no legal wrangling. People say to me, \u201cWell, if you have children\u2026\u201d No. That still wouldn\u2019t matter to me. It\u2019s a stupid rule, and I\u2019ve never been interested in it.
