So, I\u2019m not telling<\/em> you; I\u2019m just imploring<\/em> those of you who are sitting there thinking that you should not<\/em> make the effort because you\u2019re still depressed about the Presidential Election travesty of two years ago, to vote, because that\u2019s exactly<\/em> why this country needs your vote today!<\/p>\n I\u2019ve even been wearing blue clothing and jewelry, and rocking blue fingernails and eye make-up, all week, (along with my God-given blue eyes, of course,) as subliminal messages to everyone to \u201cvote blue.\u201d<\/p>\n I really don\u2019t understand people saying simply, \u201cVote!\u201d No, we do not need any Republicans doing so again. I still can\u2019t understand what could possibly be in those people\u2019s minds! This is serious. My whole life, I had never understood how Hitler could have gotten away with committing his atrocities. He was just one person\u2014how was he not stopped??? And now that I see what our own \u201cOrange Hitler\u201d is perpetrating, it has all, so horrifically, become clear. It\u2019s not just that one<\/em> evil being who\u2019s a danger to all of our lives\u2014it\u2019s the fools who follow him. That is beyond frightening.<\/p>\n And if you\u2019re on the fence, please mensch up and decide to do the right thing, and vote Democrat, and help start this country on the road to healing. Let\u2019s at least try<\/em> to make things right, so we don\u2019t have anything to regret, as anyone who voted for Trump in 2016 should<\/em> by now.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re a Republican, the election is next<\/em> week, and you can vote then. (If you\u2019re dumb enough to believe a word that comes out of that creep\u2019s mouth, you\u2019re dumb enough to believe that previous sentence!)<\/p>\n And here\u2019s some great news, to help everyone get to the polls today. For Angelenos, there will be free Metro rides: www.thesource.metro.net\/2018\/10\/30\/here-are-all-the-agencies-offering-free-transportation-this-election-day<\/a>. And there will be discounts on car services all around the country, for the same purpose: www.venturebeat.com\/2018\/11\/03\/how-uber-lyft-lime-and-zipcar-will-get-voters-to-the-polls-on-election-day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/a>So, please, please, please, if you\u2019re a Democrat, do everything you can to get to the polls today. As I stated in 2016, this time it\u2019s\u00a0really<\/em>\u00a0\u201cnot about me\u201d\u2014it\u2019s about the safety and the good and the future of this country.<\/p>\n<\/a>If you\u2019re in Los Angeles, and are confused as to for whom and for what to vote, this should help: www.lacdp.org\/endorsements<\/a>.
