And here\u2019s my gift to you all:<\/p>\n<p>DON\u2019T SEE <em>NINE<\/em>!!! I saw the Broadway show a number of years ago, and was already definitely not a fan. This movie was even worse. The friend I brought was jumping out of her skin to see it. I could tell that she wasn\u2019t enjoying it just by the vibe. After about twenty minutes, she leaned over and said, \u201cBoy, were you right!\u201d Duh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_361\" style=\"width: 90px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-361\" class=\"size-full wp-image-361\" title=\"mv5bndg0oteymjuznf5bml5banbnxkftztcwodeynzywmw__v1__cr316014161416_ss80_\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/mv5bndg0oteymjuznf5bml5banbnxkftztcwodeynzywmw__v1__cr316014161416_ss80_.jpg\" alt=\"Just two of the excellent actors who wasted their time on the abysmal movie &quot;nine.&quot;\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-361\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Just two of the excellent actors who wasted their time on the abysmal movie &quot;nine.&quot;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>There actually are a few positives: it\u2019s always great to see Sophia Loren, Fergie (of whom I\u2019m not a particular fan) sang great, Judi Dench managed to get two or three laughs out of the dumbstruck audience I saw it with, and best of all, Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the very few people I\u2019ve ever heard pronounce \u201cforehead\u201d [\u201cforrid,\u201d kind-of] correctly!!! (It\u2019s not really the \u201cfore-head\u201d most people say; that pronunciation was added to many dictionaries in recent years to keep up with the popular <em>mis<\/em>pronunciation. I\u2019ll explain more if I ever get my Grammar category up and running.)<\/p>\n<p>So there you have it! A mini-review and grammar lesson, in one column!
