It\u2019s a festive three-day week-end for most people, but it also represents the unofficial end of summer. It\u2019s sort-of a last hurrah for many working folks.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, those are the people who are to be celebrated\u2014the work force!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Labor-Day-Sales.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-35564\" src=\"http:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Labor-Day-Sales-300x172.jpg\" alt=\"Labor-Day-Sales\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" srcset=\"https:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Labor-Day-Sales-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Labor-Day-Sales.jpg 940w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>I, too, always want to join in on the fun aspect of this holiday week-end, (yes, I <em>do<\/em> work my butt off, even though it might not seem that to some who just observe my glamorous life from the outside,) but, alas, once again, it comes in the middle of the US Open, which means that I don\u2019t like to leave the house, even to party. (Wow\u2014how\u2019s<em> that<\/em> for a run-on sentence?! Sorry, Mom.)<\/p>\n<p>This time of year is always a conundrum for me\u2014two years ago, I was invited to three fun pool parties over Labor Day week-end. I was very torn as to what to do\u2014attend them and be way behind in my tennis-watching, (which my linear-thinking mind <em>must<\/em> do in a row,) or go have fun and then make myself crazy by staying up over the next few nights to catch-up! But luckily for me that year, I had cracked ribs and found it hard to get off the couch, anyway. (What a supreme example of \u201cglass half-full!\u201d) But I still regret missing those fetes, especially since two of those pals haven&#8217;t had any since! (Or just did not invite <em>moi<\/em>, which can\u2019t possibly be the case, right?)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/rsz_labor-day-picnic-clip-art-pictures.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-35566\" src=\"http:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/rsz_labor-day-picnic-clip-art-pictures-300x283.jpg\" alt=\"rsz_labor-day-picnic-clip-art-pictures\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/rsz_labor-day-picnic-clip-art-pictures-300x283.jpg 300w, https:\/\/itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/rsz_labor-day-picnic-clip-art-pictures.jpg 866w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>So, we\u2019ll all find-out together just what I come up with this year. If it\u2019s anything fabulous, (or <em>awful<\/em>!,) you know that you\u2019ll be reading about it right here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So, I wish you all a fabulous, and <em>safe<\/em>, Happy Labor Day Week-end. I hope that whatever you come up with to do for it, it will be a fun, exciting, and\/or relaxing, (or any combo of those situations,) three-day week-end for you.
