Wednesday<\/em> Fourth of July is not much fun at all.<\/p>\nBut I really do hope that all of you can make something good of it, even if it\u2019s just to relax and break up your week. Hey\u2014I just thought of something\u2014you can work on Monday and Tuesday, have today<\/em> as your paid<\/em> vacation day, and then take off the next two days as regular<\/em> vacation days; that<\/em> way, you get five<\/em> good days off in a row! (I really hope you<\/em> thought of that before now<\/em>! I actually work seven days a week, with never a vacation, so things like this don\u2019t usually occur to me.)<\/p>\nBack to today. I wish all of you a very happy and above all, safe<\/em>, Fourth of July. And please spare a thought for how lucky we are to live in this country. To really<\/em> have a special time, you\u2019d have to take off the entire week, and then does the 4th of July count as a vacation day, which it would have been anyway?
