What an eclectic\u00a0group of celebrities this is!\u00a0 There\u2019s something for everyone\u2014movie stars, TV actors, athletes, dancers, singers, married couples, Brits, Americans, and even a rapper.\u00a0 And they go from one of the most famous women in the world (on May 1) to an Olympic medalist (on May 16) to an oldie-but-goodie, right below.<\/p>\n

So, without further ado, let\u2019s get right to them!<\/p>\n

4\/7\/18<\/strong> Oscar-nominated actress Piper Laurie<\/strong> introducing the documentary,\u00a0A Classy Broad<\/em>, about her good pal, Marcia Nasitir, at a very private screening in Burbank.\u00a0 (I saw Piper on an episode of\u00a0MacGyver\u00a0<\/em>a couple of days later, and she was wearing a very similar outfit to the one she had on that day\u2014same style hat, coat, and scarf.\u00a0 I guess she found her grown-up look, and is sticking to it!) Amanda Seyfried.<\/p><\/div>\n

4\/22\/18<\/strong> \u00a0Petite movie actress Amanda Seyfried<\/strong> supporting her husband, Thomas Sadowski<\/strong>, (along with his\u00a0Life In Pieces<\/em> castmate Colin Hanks<\/strong>,) for his opening night of\u00a0Belleville<\/em>\u00a0at the Pasadena Playhouse. \u00a0(Here’s my review of this awful show, which you are lucky has already closed so you won’t be tempted by these celebrities to see it: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/theatre-belleville<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4\/28\/18<\/strong> \u00a0Dueling dance show judges, Nigel Lythgoe<\/strong> (of\u00a0So You Think You Can Dance<\/em>,) and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong> (of Dancing\u00a0With The Stars<\/em>,) at the Wallis in Beverly Hills for BritWeek’s\u00a0A<\/em> Shakespeare Jubilee<\/em>. \u00a0Bruno was actually sitting in the audience with Nigel’s daughter-in-law, Becky, while Nigel stole the show on stage. 5\/1\/18\u00a0<\/strong> The entire cast of\u00a0World of Dance<\/em>\u00a0at the TV Academy in North Hollywood.\u00a0 Jennifer Lopez<\/strong>, Derek Hough<\/strong>, Ne-Yo<\/strong>, and Jenna Dewan<\/strong> (minus the \u201cTatum\u201d since the recent divorce,) did a panel discussion of their show, hoping to get an Emmy nomination out of feeding the assemblage a sumptuous buffet at the afterparty!!!<\/p>\n

5\/6\/18\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The Blind Side<\/em>\u00a0star, Quinton Aaron<\/strong>, at Masters of Taste at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.\u00a0 He seemed to be enjoying all the treats there almost as much as\u00a0I\u00a0did!\u00a0 (Here are the rest of the scoops on that event: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/diningeventcharity-masters-of-taste-2018<\/a>. )<\/p>\n

P 5\/16\/18\u00a0<\/strong> Figure skating multiple World Champion Michelle Kwan<\/strong>, looking the prettiest ever, at opening night of\u00a0Soft Power<\/em>\u00a0at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown LA.\u00a0 The show is a fabulous comedy about US-China relations, written by Chinese-American playwright David Henry Hwang<\/strong>, who sat right across the aisle from me, so I got to enjoy\u00a0his\u00a0reactions to the show along with my own.\u00a0 (Here\u2019s my glowing review of that wonderful show: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/theatre-soft-power<\/a>.) 5\/18\/18\u00a0<\/strong> Actor Bill Pullman<\/strong> at a little theatre in Burbank for the opening night of one of the worst shows I\u2019ve ever seen.\u00a0 He must have known someone in the cast because no one would have sat through that torture otherwise.\u00a0 He was sitting right in front of me, and didn\u2019t seem to be enjoying it, either.<\/p>\n

5\/21\/18\u00a0<\/strong> James Franco\u2019s supportive sister-in-law, cute actress Allison Brie<\/strong>, speaking as part of the most boring animation panel, at a studio in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

5\/22\/18\u00a0<\/strong> Dance icons Debbie Allen <\/strong>and Nigel Lythgoe<\/strong> (that guy gets around, doesn\u2019t he?,) at a super-private cocktail party at The Wallis in Beverly Hills, the theatre that brings us the most dance of any in town. \u00a0(You can read all about that event right here next week.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
