(You can read my review of the show and whole evening here: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/theatre-spamilton<\/a>.)<\/p>\n 11\/16\/17<\/strong> Old-school actress Jennifer Tilly<\/strong> at the Louis Vuitton holiday party in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n 11\/17\/17<\/strong> Prolific composer, and my pal, Richard Sherman<\/strong>, at the opening night of his new musical, Levi<\/em>, in Hollywood. (Here\u2019s my review of that fun show: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/theatre-levi-the-musical<\/a>.)<\/p>\n 11\/24\/17<\/strong> I love this one\u2014the whole Benjamin clan, (show biz parents Richard Benjamin <\/strong>and Paula Prentiss<\/strong>, and their daughter,) out to support son Ross who\u2019s appearing in a play in West LA. Photo by Karen Salkin.<\/p><\/div>\n 11\/26\/17<\/strong>\u00a0 One of the (mostly) motliest crews I\u2019ve ever seen, in the VIP on-field suite at the Rams winning game over the Saints.\u00a0 This is just some of the guys who joined me there, with a couple of nice ones peppered in: the biggest a-hole, by far, was Gary Busey<\/strong>, along with assorted members of his posse. \u00a0Entourage<\/em>\u2019s Kevin Dillon<\/strong>, whose creepy drunk girlfriend kept punching me in the back, wasn\u2019t really a jerk; he just didn\u2019t stop jawing with anyone and everyone he could, (including accidentally insulting national anthem singer, Brian McKnight<\/strong>, who sat right next to me up front, but he let it roll off his back–he told me that\u2019s \u201cjust LA for you.\u201d He was one of the nicer guests in there.) \u00a0On the interesting tip were Joe Manganiello<\/strong>, (there without his wife, Sofia Vergara,) J.B. Smoove<\/strong>, and Master P<\/strong>, (who seemed a lot better in person than he did when he was difficult on Dancing With The Stars<\/em> back in the day.)\u00a0 My two faves there, by far, were\u00a0Dawson\u2019s Creek<\/em>\u2019s James Van Der Beek<\/strong>, to whom I wish I had spoken to tell him how funny I think he is now, and darling Rhoda <\/em>and Life Goes On<\/em>\u00a0star\u00a0Ray Buktenica<\/strong>, who seemed to be enjoying himself videoing a lot of the proceedings!<\/p>\n Armie Hammer and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet. (Yes, I know<\/em> that it\u2019s winning all kinds of awards, but I really feel that it\u2019s the Emperor’s New Clothes<\/em> of this year\u2019s crop of films.) She looked awful\u2014I still can’t figure-out why she would go to such a public event with no make-up on!!!<\/p>\n Nigel Lythgoe. Photo by Karen Salkin.<\/p><\/div>\n 12\/5\/17<\/strong> The hottest choreographer in the world right now, Mandy Moore<\/strong>, in Pasadena, in rehearsal for the latest Lythgoe Family Panto, and being interviewed by none other than…moi<\/em>! She was great. (You can read all about our time together here: itsnotaboutme.tv\/news\/upcomingtheatre-lythgoe-family-panto-previews<\/a>.)<\/p>\n 12\/5\/17<\/strong> And then, very coincidentally, later that night, Nigel Lythgoe<\/strong> (of So You Think You Can Dance <\/em>and American Idol<\/em> fame,) sat right in front of me at a show in Beverly Hills! And to his credit, he led the standing ovation at the end.
