Actually, watching tennis is not that relaxing for me, if my beloved Roger Federer, The Stranger I Love Most, is playing.<\/p>\nYes, that is correct\u2014Labor Day always falls smack dab in the middle of the US Open! I\u2019m often invited to pool parties or barbecues this week-end, both of which I love, but, as much as I want to attend them, I just can’t give up my precious tennis-watching.<\/p>\n
So, now that you know what I\u2019ll<\/em> be doing this week-end, what about you<\/em> guys?<\/p>\nI hope that whatever you come up with, it will be a fun, exciting, and\/or relaxing, (or any combo of those situations,) three-day week-end for you. <\/a>So, here I am to correct that oversight about this<\/em> holiday week-end, although there\u2019s not really much to say about it. The purpose of this federal holiday is to celebrate the contributions of workers in this country, but isn\u2019t that just about all<\/em> of us? (Except for people on government programs such as welfare and unemployment, I guess.) So, it\u2019s basically us<\/em> celebrating us<\/em>. That\u2019s sort-of like when we have to share our birthday festivities with friends who were born on the same date. (I have two<\/em> pals like that.) I\u2019m not really a fan of that\u2014I\u2019d rather we each have our own<\/em> day!<\/p>\n
