I hope you got to stick with me on Sunday evening, while I live-tweeted the SAGs. I got a lot of positive feedback once again, so I hope to do the same for the Oscars.<\/p>\n
When I used to do my show, Karen’s Restaurant Revue<\/em>, I hated when people would steal my material and use it as their own. I<\/em> would not even tell the same story more than once; it made me feel like I was stealing from myself<\/em>! So, I kind-of don’t want to reprint my tweets here; same feeling.<\/p>\n But, only because I took so many goony pictures to illustrate my tweets, then didn’t want to take the time to post them with<\/em> said tweets, I may \u201cborrow\u201d some of those tweets now, to go along with the pix I want to share with you. So, if you follow me on twitter and, therefore, already read some, please forgive me for repeating. The pix may not be near their corresponding paragraph this time, so please read the captions to see what I was trying to show you.<\/p>\n [Note: I know some of these comments sound really mean, but they’re not intended that way. Photo by Karen Salkin.<\/p><\/div>\n I guess Ryan Seacrest is too big for the SAGs now, and Giuliana Rancic is too weak (from being so Olive Oyl-looking) to show-up.<\/p>\n Eddie Redmayne<\/strong> seems like such a sweet guy.<\/p>\n Who’s Kelly McDonald,<\/strong> and what is up with her left knee? And why would she wear a short dress with a knee like that, knowing the camera pans the whole body!?!<\/p>\n When that creepy Ross interviewer guy asked Ellar Coltrane<\/strong> (from Boyhood)<\/em> what he wanted to do in the future, and the kid said that he wanted to continue creating art, meaning acting, of course!,) Ross asked him, \u201cWhat kind of art do you want to create?\u201d What an idiot!<\/p>\n This doesn’t even show how dirty Juliana Marguilies’ hair was! And she wore a really cute dress, especially for the middle-of-the-road (as far as awards shows go) occasion.<\/p>\n Good for Julia Louis-Dreyfus<\/strong> to be so honest about how bad it feels to not<\/em> win.<\/p>\n Brooklyn Nine-Nine<\/em> has the worst-looking cast.<\/p>\n How do women not get manicures for this??? I’m talking to you, Tatiana Massey <\/strong>and Emilia<\/strong> Clarke<\/strong>. (Some others, as well, but I wasn’t taking names at the time.)<\/p>\n I was shocked by Julianna Margulies<\/strong>‘ filthy hair! I would fire my stylist if she told me to wear my hair like that!<\/p>\n How awful and sickly does Taryn Manning look? Why would anyone look like this for an awards show? Good for her!<\/p>\n When they showed Taryn Manning<\/strong>‘s hands, (without the rest of her,) I thought it was a meth addict! Then they showed her full self, and I was sure<\/em> of it! How weakly-looking she is.<\/p>\n Keira Knightly<\/strong> seems so nice.<\/p>\n How stupid to show major nominee, Michael Keaton<\/strong>, Mindy Kaling’s nothing tweet about his son! How was he supposed to react?! Idiotic of E!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>
