much<\/em> more importantly, it’s meant as a time for us to honor the men and women of America’s armed forces who have lost their lives in battle, in service to this country.<\/p>\nSo, in-between barbecuing and swimming and visiting festivals, why don’t we all spare a minute to at least think about the people who have died protecting our right to do all those activities? And maybe begin the day by looking-up the history of Memorial Day? It really doesn’t take long, and, after all, how much celebrity gossip is it necessary to read on a holiday week-end?<\/p>\n
And, then, go ahead and have some fun. And, most of all, be safe.<\/p>\n
