After the actual holiday, when others called me<\/em> to see what fun event I<\/em> had gone to, I realized that ALL my friends, no matter how old or young, rich or poor, active or not, had just stayed home, as well.<\/p>\n So, this year, might I suggest that we all stay around our own abodes and just do what Mr. X suggests we do every<\/em> day–RELAX! Except for missing fireworks, it\u2019s really a cozy, and more importantly, a safe<\/em> thing to do.<\/p>\n I was planning on doing a panel review of some perfect snacks for the occasion, but time ran out, so hopefully, that column will be ready in time for Labor Day festivities.<\/p>\n And let\u2019s face it, that strawberry and cream recipe that I wrote for you in my first Wimbledon column last week, really took a lot out of me! (Don\u2019t forget to get it ready tonight, to have in time for Breakfast At Wimbledon in the morning. And on the Fourth of July, as well, for the Men\u2019s Final, which very sadly and shockingly, will not include the stranger I love the most, Roger Federer.)
