I knew John Ritter back in the day for several reasons, the chief one being because he and his brother Tom were fans of my show. One night, John and his wife Nancy and young sons, along with Mr. X and I, were VIPS at a big concert here in LA. The only restrooms were Andy Gumps. We were all waiting in line for one, with the Ritters right behind me. As I was using it, John’s little sons opened the door! I was humiliated, but everyone got a big laugh out of it! John said, “They’ll remember that for the rest of their lives!” I answered, “I hope not!” If I ever run into those now grown-up cuties, I guess we’ll find-out.

And there you have it! Let’s hope the experience didn’t traumatize them!

Forget about the review of “The McCarthys.” I want to hear more about you, the Ritter brothers, and the accident!
I like “The McCarthys,” especially Laurie Metcalf. OT, I’m devastated by the cancellation of “Hot in Cleveland.”
