		<description><![CDATA[Karen, just FYI - the hand movements that they used during &quot;Do Re Mi&quot; are the actual hand movements that are used by music teachers. It&#039;s called the Solfège system, and the hand signals were developed by John Curwen around 1840, primarily to help young students retain the pitch names...just as Maria is doing with the Von Trapp children in that scene.  Trust me, the choreographer did his homework.  :)]]></description>
