BRIEF ENCOUNTER is one of my favorite movies as well. Even if a theatre production doesn’t live up to the movie, I’d jump at the chance to see it. Glad you got the chance.

P.S. I’ve never been to the Statue of Liberty after having spent most of my life in NYC!
