I was thinking that I was crazy for disliking this film immensely. I was so looking forward to this movie as I read so many good reviews. Twenty minutes into the film, I looked at my ticket to make sure I was in the right theater. It was plodding, dull, and pretty horrible. I began wishing that I was the one with the gun halfway through this arduous movie. Also, it should be called “the nose” as I could not stop looking at Carell’s fake nose and his attempt to keep it on his face by looking up all the time (at least that’s what it looked like he was trying to do). Carell did a great job acting out the life and times of a terribly boring man in an even more boring way. Kudos to Carrell for his acting, but he can’t save this awful movie.
