What lovely thoughts about your friend Valerie. I know that you knew her and was wondering why you hadn’t written about her illness sooner. I realize how difficult it must have been to write this. I’ve seen Valerie on several talk shows these past couple of weeks and was amazed by her courage and spirit. She had her daughter Christina on “The Talk” with her and that was incredibly touching. Valerie seems absolutely crazy about her husband Tony and Christina. Like you, I think Valerie will fight this illness with great strength and I pray for a miracle. Miracles DO happen.
