I couldn’t agree more about the ridiculous backlash Timothee Chalamet received for his contextual off the cuff comment. With his family so entrenched in ballet my guess is he has seen more ballet than most of us ever will. Stop the word police for a 30 year old’s observation. I made a much bigger mistake when I was young and told my father, a WW 11 combat veteran that “nobody cares” after he mentioned that it was VE (Victory in Europe)Day. I’m saying penance for the rest of my life on that one. Point being my father didn’t chastise me. He just chuckled as to my stupidity & knew I would grow up. Excellent article Karen.
