Excellent and extremely sound advice! Glad your surgery went well…………………

I’ve, on many occasions, had to actually advise my doctor on what tests needs to be done (on me), or what meds I should be on. Needless to say, after my having to do this, I switched doctors. (Example: went for my yearly check-up a few years back. Dr. asks me why I was there. I responded, my yearly check-up. She said: Oh. OK. What’s wrong with you? I politely told her: aren’t you supposed to be the one telling me that after I have my physical, blood tests, etc. Her response? Blood tests? Yes Dr. – to check for things like high cholesterol, etc? Yearly check-up kind of things? Duh…….
