2010 WINTER OLYMPICS

The 2010 Winter Olympics are starting tonight, so I’ll be glued to my television for the next sixteen days. (Coincidentally, last week I hurt my back pretty badly, so I’ve been advised by the doctor to stay off my feet for almost that exact time! I’m upset about my back, but what perfect timing, if it had to happen.)

I’ll try to give you my Olympics thoughts daily, but, seriously, I watch coverage just about 24-hours-a-day, so there’s not much time for anything else, including writing. I’m sure I’ll have a lot to say about thegames, so I’ll make a big effort to get them posted. (And on top of the Olympics, this week-end brings the NBA All-Star festivities.)

I’ll still do daily posts, so please check them out; I just don’t know what the topics are yet. I have several columns that I’ve already written before these two weeks, (including a couple of new categories,) so don’t think I’m shirking my Olympics-watching duties!
