HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY 2014

This second week of Wimbledon got backed-up because of rain over in England. Therefore, I’m backed-up in watching it! Yesterday featured six full-length quarterfinal matches, and I watched every second of all of them, even though they ran them concurrently. (Three in a row on one channel, and the other three on another at the same time.) I would pause one station, and go back and forth, hour by hour. It was nuts. I finally finished watching it all way after midnight!

I used up every creative brain cell thinking of ways to beg the universe to help Roger Federer win his match! (Which he did, thank goodness!!!) So, right about now, I’m out of ideas.

So, the best I can do right now is give you the link to the second Fourth of July column I wrote for this e-zine. It has one of my favorite New York stories ever, and a basic recipe for the most delicious July 4th treat ever!: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/holiday-happy-fourth-of-july-week-end.

And then, wish you all a fabulous, fun, and safe Fourth of July week-end. Having the actual holiday fall on a Friday is the best! So, enjoy your long week-end, and I’ll meet you back here on Monday, which is an even more special day for me. (You’ll find-out why, then.)

HAPPY FOURTH! AND FIFTH! AND SIXTH, TOO!
