WOW CREATIONS 2016 PRE-EMMY GIFTING SUITE

[Note: I made it out to five gifting suites, or lounges, that celebrated this year’s Emmys. As usual, each gets its own write-up because I don’t want you to miss even one tidbit.  This is the third of five, so please make sure to read the previous two and the next two, as well, to learn about all the fabulous-ness.]

This was the Harris Twins’ first Emmys suite at the W Hotel in Hollywood, and it was a roaring success. Several of the sponsors told me they really liked this venue because there was lots of space to walk around in. And we guests got to mingle more than usual.

You know that I love a suite that feeds us, (so that we can keep up our strength for the gift-gathering, of course,) and this time, the twins did just that. In the middle of the day, they served lots of pizzas, with various toppings, which was great for all the different Hollywood-types’ dietary needs. I loved that they brought them out at different times, so it wasn’t just one group of guests who gobbled them all.

In addition to that fare, there were chips, cupcakes, and cookies along the way.

All full, I finally got to visit the sponsors, so let’s do that here, as well, with the highlights of them!:

Seal Shoe Covers—This ingenious invention is just what I need! No exaggeration—I’m hoping to go to NY soon, but I don’t have my house there anymore, so I have to bring everything I’ll need with me this time. I was stressing over what to do for rainwear—my rain boots are way to big and heavy to pack in my suitcase, and I have no shoes or other boots that I wouldn’t mind getting wet. These little thin waterproof covers go over your shoes when you’re outside, and are as easy to pack as underwear! Now I also need a pair to keep in my car in LA, because I always rock nice footwear here, and you never know what’s going to happen with this crazy weather. www.sealshoecovers.com

Grace In LA Jeans—I’m always happy to see this sponsor, and their uber-pleasant reps. And once again, they were showing all new designs. Who knew there were so many styles of jeans? We all do now! www.graceinla.com

CBD Care Garden—This company from Colorado, (of course,) produces all kinds of beauty products made with Cannabidiol , which I believe is basically marijuana without the THC. I just hope I don’t get hungry when I wear their beautiful lip gloss! (That would defeat the whole purpose, now, wouldn’t it?) www.cbdcaregarden.com

Reve Calme—I was sooo happy to see this company here again because Mr. X and I already use their lavender spray to help us sleep, and let me tell you–it’s magic! Mr. X won’t hit the pillow without it. This time, they were gifting cute little bags of several of their other products, as well, including calming bath salts. www.revecalme.us

Ziggits—The reps for this cute new product were so welcoming to me that, at first, I thought they were fans of my former show. But then I found-out they’re from Canada, so they could not have seen it, which means they’re just nice people. That should have made me realize they’re from the Great White North to begin with! Ziggits are easy-to-clip-on pins that feature either letters or little icons. (The number ones actually look like old typewriter keys—google that, you millennials.) They had soooo many that I wanted, but I didn’t want to be a pig, so I took just a few. (When I got home, I realized I chose the non-colorful ones, which is so not me. But they were the girly ones, like lipstick and heels, so how could I not have chosen them?!) You can even design your own, which I plan to do with my twitter avatar. (I know–you’re all going to copy me now. But no worries—I love being a trendsetter, so copy away!) www.ziggitstyle.com

Optics By Parker—Not only were these sunglasses really “Hollywood,” but the reps could not have been nicer! Usually, any kind of glasses’ sponsors are the rudest, but these guys were lovely, helpful, encouraging, and generous. And, oh yeah, I loved the stylish frames, as well! www.opticsbyparker.com

SolSol Solar Hat–These are sturdy baseball caps whose brim charges your phone with solar power! There’s a little slit on the side where you plug your phone in. And they’re so hip and attractive that they just may become bigger for cap-wearers than low-slung pants! www.solsolhat.com

Heelusions—What a clever invention! These are rubberized shoe accessories that you slip over the back of your high heels to give your dressy shoes a totally different look. They come in packs of three, so for one tiny little price, you get a whole new shoe wardrobe. And I love all the fun designs. www.heelusions.com

Mack Trucks Apparel—Who knew that this trucking company now makes casual wear? Their tees and caps come in all different colors. Wear one, and you can trick you’re family into thinking you’re gainfully employed as a trucker! www.mack-shop.com

Queen C Hair—This hair extensions company was gifting a set of their detangler brushes. I was glad to discover that they also work on real hair, because that’s what I have! (I actually hate that others can copy my luxurious locks, but I’m sure that the follically-challenged are thrilled about it. So, being the Empath that I am, I guess I’m happy for them. But this time, begrudgingly so.) www.queenchair.com

All in all, Wow Creations provided a wonderful day in Hollywood!
