The Wow Creations Suite, presented by my favorite twins, Mark and Matt Harris, returned to the W Hollywood. My contributing writer, Alice, said the atmosphere there was “swanky fun,” and “buzzing.”

I always appreciate that the Harris Bros. have uber-pleasant help at the check-in table, in the form of Michelle and Kim, and all four of them have a knack for making every guest feel welcome.

This time, they had a quartet of actual “suites” which housed the sponsors, so let’s get to the highlights of them already!:

ARTpocalpse NOW—This was the first gifting suite for this newbie collective of artists. Some of the designers were right on-site, and they all helped each guest choose the one-of-a-kind gift they coveted most. Alice went with a “creative, distinctive, gorgeous hand-painted pillow” by Karen White Designs. She was also impressed that when Karen wrapped it up for her, she did so with the same pattern bag as the pillow, along with matching tissue paper! How’s that for “an amazing gift?!” (www.artsnow.com/kewzoo) I chose a couple of original art pieces by Shaz Justice Fine Art, whose work I’ve been a fan of for awhile now. I was glad to find two all-sweet drawings, because Shaz is known for adding a bit of gore to her cherubic images! (www.shazjustice.com.)

Obelo Jewelry—Alice deemed this Oksana Belo-designed line of jewelry to be “classic,” with pieces that “have an elegant, simple look.” We were both drawn to the pearl drop earrings, (with either black and white pearls,) but you know that I was picturing them with an LBD, while more casual Ali was thinking of wearing them with jeans and a t-shirt. www.obelojewelry.com

Bedol Water Clock—I’ve had one of these water clocks for a few years now, and it works! I have no idea how or why, just that it does. You just fill it with water, and voila. No need for batteries! www.bedol.com

Radio Head—This is a novel by Rebecca Laclair, who was on hand to sign each one. www.radioheadbook.com

Sweetie Blooms–These hand-made candy bouquets are sweet, colorful, and yummy. Alice said they are “great for any occasion.” www.sweetieblooms.com

Queen C Hair—This hair extension company wants to keep real hair beautiful, too, to give the wearers of their products a good base. So to that end, they were gifting special shampoo and conditioner. Alice read the package and said that people who use it will “be rewinding back to the luster their hair originally had before all the processing they put it through!” And that is the goal, isn’t it? www.queenchair.com

Holistic Naturals—This young mother was gifting bags of loose tea in formulas that help with a variety of ailments. Alice pointed-out that we should all try the “Sweet Dreams,” to “get some much-needed shut-eye after all the Oscars craziness!” www.holisticnaturalsco.com

Milkadamia—Here’s a new entry into the non-dairy nut milk arena. It’s made in Australia using macadamia nuts, hence its clever moniker. www.milkadamia.com

McCoy Non-F—I’ve been familiar with this Japanese company’s line of skin care products for awhile, so I was happy to discover a new one here. The Non-F Idol Faceline Cream is a lifting cream that’s made with volcanic ash. If it makes us look like the rep at the suite, we’ll take a case, please! www.mccoy-nonf.com

Jewel Straps—Who knew that there were so many ways to upgrade your visible bra straps? This company has a plethora of designs to choose from, including ones with bling, and just hip chains. www.jewelstraps.com

Ziggit—Alice called these little icons that snap on to your clothes “a fun way to express yourself.” You can wear either just one at a time, or a whole bunch together.  www.ziggitstyle.com

Bloom Aura—These lovely girls from Japan were actually walking around giving everyone (including the other sponsors) gift bags with products from their two lines!!! OMG—how nice was that? There was a serum from this title line, and an all-in-one-foundation from Shanti Couture, which was created by someone labeled the “Japanese Beauty Magician.” If we all wind-up looking like these beautiful-skinned young ladies, you’ll know the products worked. www.ebm121.co.jp/en

Bee23 Natural Beauty—This Canadian company uses all-natural ingredients in their “Hotty Balms.” The owner was on hand to help choose the correct one for each guest, such as the one for “mature skin” that she picked-out for Alice. If the next time you see us, she looks as young as I do, you’ll know that it worked! www.bee23.ca

Madam Pattirini Gin—I’m far from a gin expert, but the other guests seemed to enjoy their sips of this one from Utah. And I’m a fan of the attractive bottle. www.madampattirini.com

IncrediWhip—Since I consider all whipped cream to be the best substance on earth, (as does Mr. X, and did my little mo,) I was happy to discover a new company in this arena. Alice tried some on-site, and suggested that, since it comes in flavors, it would be good “in your morning coffee, as a creamer option.” I was impressed with how they packed-up each canister of it for the guests, to make sure it was still perfectly fresh when they got it home. www.incrediwhip.com

IMG_8250Crazy Loops—When Alice saw these tiny adornments, she gushed, “What a fun way to accessorize!” You just loop them onto the front of your sneakers, or even onto a backpack strap. www.crazyloops.com

Essentially Living Healthy Oils—They were on-site mixing-up special blends for the guests. They made one for the cold they thought I was getting, but we should have made an anti-pneumonia one instead, because that’s what I came down with! Now I know what to ask for next time! www.essentiallylivinghealthy.com
