WOW CREATIONS 2017 PRE-EMMY GIFTING SUITE

This event returned to the second floor of the W Hotel in Hollywood, but this time it was in The Great Room, which I really liked because that meant that all the sponsors were in the same giant space.  It’s easier to visit all of them that way, which I love—you know I hate leaving anyone out!

Flo was my contributing writer on this one, and the very first thing she told me about this Wow event is “how genuinely nice everyone was,” and she added that the sponsors were “all so fun to talk to.”  (The rest of her comments are all the ones in quotes throughout this article.)

We discovered a lot of excellent products along the way, so let’s get right to the highlights:

Rei Jinka—This skin care company from Japan had the most enthusiastic reps ever!  And there were a lot of them.  They loved showing us their “divine” two-step facial products whose packaging Flo was even dazzled by!  She exclaimed, “The cream comes in a gold, satin-lined box along with its own little spatula.”  Now, if only our faces wind-up looking as beautiful as this presentation, we’ll be all set in life.  www.e-face.jp

Etchey–I had met this laser engraving company before, and was impressed by their wares, so I was happy to introduce artistic Flo to them at this suite.  She went absolutely ga-ga over their etched wood cutting boards!  She told me, “I just love personalized items, and this is now my new favorite thing.”  I have a feeling all the guests felt the same way, especially because the engraved design on it reads, “69th Primetime Emmy Awards,” and even features a picture of the awards statue etched into it!  www.etchey.com

Brevena Daily Hydration Moisturizer—I’ve been a fan of this skin care company’s heel cream for a few years now, so I was happy to discover their Daily Hydration Moisturizer, made with the same complex.  Flo raved about their whole situation to me, so I’m letting her tell you about this one:  “If anyone knows about skin care, it’s folks who live in cold climates.  This company is headquartered in Minnesota, and their creams soften doctors’ and nurses’ hands, which are constantly in water.  This face moisturizer is light and creamy, and its benefits seem instantaneous.  Even the white-with-turquoise-accents packaging looks clean and healthy!”  I agree with everything she said!  www.brevena.com

SolSol Solar Hat–These interesting baseball caps are so much more than just fashion statements—the brim collects solar power to…charge your phone! You just plug it in on the side, and go about your outdoor activities. How easy is that?! www.solsolhat.com

Laser Lips Certificates—Dr. Stokes’ office was gifting certificates for laser body contouring. After talking to the rep, and looking over the literature on offer, Flo told me that she thinks it will be “pain-free, fast, and easy.” If she is correct, all the guests of this suite will be happy campers! www.idealw84u.com

Jewel Straps—These metal chain bra straps, that you just hook onto your bra to replace the original unattractive straps, come in different colors and patterns.  As soon as Flo laid eyes on them, she said they “add instant glam and sophistication” to any fashionista’s look.  www.jewelstraps.com

Mama Taylor’s Fudge—Flo said this “delish” homemade fudge, which comes in several “gentle” flavors, is “not too sugary” and “just right.”  She added that she could eat “a whole pound” in one sitting!  And I love that they come in very attractive boxes, too. www.mamataylorstreats.com

Banzai Jerky—Flo thought she was not a jerky fan…until she tried this bacon one! She deemed the Spicy Teri variety to be “flavorful,” and told me she “loved it!”  She even liked the foil packet it comes in! www.banzaijerky.com

Sun Ridge Farms Snacks—Feeling in need of some nourishment as we perused the gifts, we were both happy to discover these all-natural snacks, that Flo said combine “all your favorite seeds and nuts in one blend.”  She commented that their Hit the Trail Mix “will make a hiker out of you, even if you hike only as far as the TV room,” and that “coffee lovers will inhale the Organic Dark Chocolate Espresso Beans” just like she did.” www.sunridgefarms.com

Jackie’s Cookie Babies—We both enjoyed these “crunchy and tasty” little cookies that come in jars.  We only wish that they had been gifting the big containers that were on display because we finished our mini-packs in about a nanosecond!  www.jackiescookieconnection.com

Dog Bath in a Pack—Upon seeing these wet towelettes for dogs, Flo said, they’re perfect for “dirty paws after a rainy walk, or before you let your pet into the house or car.”  We both agreed that these neat packets are “so easy to carry in your pocket, purse, or vehicle.”  www.gooddogwipes.com
