SECRET ROOM OSCARS SUITE

[Note: each Oscars Suite gets its own column because I don’t want any of you to miss even one item I’m telling you about. So, please make sure to check back several times (and look at the past few posts) to learn about all the fabulous-ness. This is the second of six.]

I love the Secret Room suites! They always have so many wonderful new products, with some previous popular ones in the mix. But my favorite aspect of them is always the fabulous pre-made goodie bags given to VIPs. It makes it easier to discover many new companies in the limited time in life afforded to a Bon Vivette such as I.

But this time, they outdid themselves in that category. In addition to the bags, they had a table with a constantly-changing array of fun and useful gifts. With being able to choose the ones you’re interested in, it’s the perfect way to try-out many new products. I hope everyone discovered the fabulous weight loss bars, Full Bar, that I featured in my Valentines Gift Ideas column. And the LOLE down jackets were the hit of the day!

Add to all the above and below mini ice cream sandwiches provided by Beachy Cream, and you’ve got yourself yet another wonderful Secret Room event!

Now, let’s get to the highlights of the non-goodie bag gifts:

Whitening Lightning–everyone loved this generous gift of their Dial-A-Smile Professional Teeth Whitening Kit, the Super Booster Pen to put in your purse, and a mirrored tube of lip gloss.

Neocell Supplements—this company’s doing everything it can to help us all look and feel better. They gifted capsules that moisturize skin, joints, and eyes; collagen powder for stronger hair and nails; and Resveratrol for everything else! What more can one need? www.neocell.com

Eminence Organics—this Hungarian skin care line has so many organic, plant-based products, all beautifully packaged, that I never have trouble finding gifts for others on their site. www.eminenceorganics.com

The Tiniest Tiger—this company was gifting wonderful black purses that sit on your hip. I think that the public will be glad that I’ll stop bumping into them with my giant shoulder bags! www.conservationcubclub.com

Nordic Naturals—this company features all different formula Omega capsules that even my stodgy old acupuncturist approves of! www.nordicnaturals.com

Atzen Skin Care—they have four different lines, which it’s hard to choose among. What’s more important—anti-aging or cellulite removal? I guess that one of these days, I’ll have to start figuring that out. www.atzen.com

Hylunia—I’ve used some products from this Canadian skin care line over the years, and was happy to discover, at the suite, their new, easier-to-use packaging. www.hylunia.com

Jock Soap—I wish more males would think to use these men’s grooming products! They even have a shave soap named after my krump dancing honey, Old School. (It’s purely coincidental—his name is spelled Oldz Kool. Of course!) www.getjock.com

The charity this time was the Humane Society of the United States. I was happy to see them at the suite, educating guests about the humane and ethical treatment of animals. www.humanesociety.org
