RED CARPET EVENTS LA GRAMMYS GIFTING LOUNGE 2019

One of the things I missed most last year, when the Grammys were held in New York, is the Red Carpet Events LA Gifting Lounge that takes place when that awards show is here in L.A. That event is always so much fun!

So I was thrilled that it returned here last week-end. This time, Red Carpet Events LA threw their fete in the Glass Lounge Room, and garden area, of the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, which showed-off the beautiful day we were having.

My contributing writer on this one is Roz, who enjoyed the entire Red Carpet Events LA experience as much as I did. She stated, “The ambiance of this event was very elegant. And the transition between indoor and outdoor areas was seamless. The colorful displays and interesting people added so much to the festivities.” (All the comments in quotes throughout this review are from her, as well.)

The Lounge featured many fun gifts that were new to one or both of us. So let’s get to the highlights of them:

Camouflage Cellulite Body LinerI was already a fan of this shapewear that not only helps hide cellulite, but you can make the legs end in different lengths, for your various outfits. Roz explains, “This long-legged wonder goes under pants or tight outfits to give you a very smooth and sexy look. Put them on and just watch imperfections disappear!” And they come in black, white, or beige, so they definitely work with everyone’s wardrobe.  www.camouflagecellulite.com

Zatik Skin Essentials—We had a long wait to speak with this skin care company, because they were so popular, but when we did finally meet them, we totally understood all the hubbub. Roz exclaimed, “What a fantastic product line this is! And the lovely reps were so generous with their time and skin care products.” We adored that the Odor Defense Roll-On comes in both lavender (for normal people) and unscented (for problem breathers like me!) Non-allergic Roz smelled everything, and said that the fragrances on all the items is “great!” We tried-out several of their wares, and thought the Nutri Face Serum with Rose Hip & Black Seed is “fantastic,” the Peace Toner spray “feels refreshing and light,” and the herbal nutrients in the Harmony Moisturizer is “easily absorbed.” But our favorite was the Solar Mineral Sunscreen, (which everyone needs on a daily basis,) because it “blends right away,” without the usual “heaviness.” And the best part is that everything in this entire line is natural and vegan. www.zatiknaturals.com

Pure Trim—There was a plethora of wellness products from this company, which every health-conscious guest welcomed! First up was their Wellness Shake, of which Roz said, “I love that this is vegan, and full of probiotics, vitamins, and gluten-free ingredients.” We both loved their TrimBars, which come in delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate and Double Chocolate, and are the perfect snack for on-the-go peeps like us! And lastly, Roz said their “totally organic” Pure Gardens Face & Body Skin Serum has a “lovely feel.” So they help you stay healthy, both inside and out. www.puretrim.com

Adonia Products—This skin care company was gifting their famous easy-to-apply Self-Tan Body Foam, which tennis player Roz deems “great for the legs,” along with their Peptide Lifting Serum, of which she said, “I love the syringe-style applicator of this collagen boosting serum.” No wonder this sponsor was so popular with the looks-conscious music biz crowd! www.adoniastore.com

Minute Relief—My broken back was already a fan of this Joint & Muscle Relief Spray even before the event. So I suggested to athletic Roz that she try it on her painful tennis knee, and she said, “ Wow. This product is so fast-acting; it worked on my knee right away, and I felt a positive difference.” I’m just proud that I knew about it before she did! And now all of you can scoop your pals, as well! www.minuterelief.com

Nuwati Herbals Healer Tea—I have used this herbal product to soothe my colds for many, many years now. So long, in fact, that sometimes I can just look at the bottle and feel better! When Roz discovered that you can either breathe it in to clear your sinuses or drink it as a tea, she queried, “What more can one ask for?!”  www.nuwatiherbals.com

Woloch Handcrafted Art–This company, that promotes and distributes Mexican art and design, was gifting delightful prints of super-artistic ice cream cones. My mouth was watering just looking at them, both for the creamy colors and the design! www.woloch.mx

But everyone’s favorite part of the Red Carpet Events LA’s lounges is the immense gift bag they receive on the way out. This time, the bags were very festive, bright, shiny, pink totes, which matched the happy mood of the overall event.

I snuck a peek into one, and here are my favorites of what I found inside: hip and sexy fingerless black gloves from Boho by Moe Munroe; Ferrero Rocher famous chocolates in a heart-shaped box, (just in time for not only the Grammys, but for Valentine’s Day, as well!); Skin To You’s cleverly-named Vitamin C Ya; a delicious-smelling white tea and ginger candle from Hometown Candle Co.; two pairs of Thorlo socks, with their famous “nano glide” technology; Clayton Shagal Collagen Gel Plus, to hydrate mature skin; the unfortunately-monikered, but fascinating party game, Cocktail Farty; Grow Girl hair supplements, (so everyone can stop doing fake extensions and have hair that’s as luxurious as mine naturally); Sun Bum’s leave-in hair conditioning spray; Mahi hot sauces, in various degrees of hotness (just like my friends!); Wolo protein bars in very interesting and unexpected flavors; Dashing Diva glamorous press-on nails; Good Guy hair regrowth shampoo, (in case it’s too late for those aforementioned supplements to work for you); and Pure MediCanna CBD Healing Salve, which all the guests really needed after that huge haul of gifts!

Their charity this time was the African Millennium Foundation, a non-profit and non-governmental organization that facilitates the social and economic empowerment of the people of Africa, especially women. www.1amf.org
