CELEB SIGHTINGS 35
Between gifting suites for the Emmys, theatre openings, and shopping trips, it seems like a lot of interesting celebs were out and about in the last couple of months. Here are the highlights:
8/16/14 Adorable young boxer Victor Ortiz, at the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills for the Wow Creations Emmys Suite. We had a fun conversation about his stint on Dancing With The Stars. (If you haven’t seen it yet on YouTube, you can find-out all the scoops on our convo here, including what part of me he was impressed with!: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdIV0FOTMPI.)
8/21/14 Jon Voight and RJ Mitte at Doris Bergman’s Emmys luncheon and gifting suite at Fig & Olive in Beverly Hills. (If you missed it, you can read all about the event here: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/gifting-suite-doris-bergmans-style-lounge-party-in-celebration-of-emmy-season-2.)
8/22/14 Oscar nominee Angela Bassett at GBK’s Emmys suite at the L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills. (If you missed it, you can read all about the event here: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/gifting-suite-gbk-emmys-gift-lounge.)
8/24/14 The Millers star, Beau Bridges, at Debbie Durkin’s Ecoluxe Lounge in the Stardust Penthouse of the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills. (If you missed it, you can read all about the event here: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/gifting-suite-ecoluxe-lounge-in-honor-of-the-2014-emmys.)
9/9/14 Janice Dickinson walking her skinny body in the Beverly Glen Center parking lot. I’m not really sure why she’s a celebrity, outside of her awful plastic surgery, but I do see her name on gossip sites from time to time, so that’s how we recognized her. We noticed her because we felt bad for the poor woman who looked like that.
9/21/14 The opening night of Kiss Me, Kate at the Pasadena Playhouse sure was a star-studded event! The star of the almost-all-black version of the classic musical was TV’s Wayne Brady, and in the audience were my personal fave Adam Lambert, along with Joey Fatone, Diahann Carroll, Charlene Tilton, French Stewart, Anne Jeffreys, and the original Broadway “Kate,” ninety-nine-year-old Patricia Morison! Wow! (If you missed my review of the whole wonderful event, you can read it here: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatre-kiss-me-kate.)
9/26/14 Judith Light, Norm Nixon, and the hilarious Holland Taylor being privileged to see Cicely Tyson in Trip To Bountiful at the Ahmanson Theatre. (If you missed my review of this excellent work, you can read it here: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatre-the-trip-to-bountiful.)
10/3/14 Paul Stanley, of Kiss fame, at the Beverly Glen Center, shopping in the pharmacy with his fam. Wonder if he was buying more black and white make-up? Or just pounds of much-needed make-up remover!
10/9/14 MacGyver‘s Richard Dean Anderson just walking down Vine Street in Hollywood, rocking headphones and sunglasses, looking exactly like his TV self.
